Marco Polo proposes a Titanic cruise from Cherbourg

The cruise season is stopped in the port of Cherbourg. 2011 was a special year that recorded 32 calls of cruise ships and 48061 passengers.
2012 will start on the 11th April with the call of Marco Polo belonging to Cruises and Maritime Voyages company. The itinerary of this cruise that is starting from Cherbourg is dedicated to the Titanic history. The different stopovers are the following :
- Cobh in Ireland where Titanic called on the 12th of April 1912 to embark passengers
- Belfast where Titanic was built in shipyards of Harland & Wolff
- Liverpool where was based the head office of White Star Line
After spending a day at sea, passengers will disembark at Tilbury (England).
All these cities have a strong and direct connection with the Titanic and planned special events to commemorate it's extraordinary story.
