Le Havre: Opening of the Docks Vauban

The commercial centre of the Docks Vauban in Le Havre was inaugurated on 14 October 2009.

These former 19th century port warehouses, gradually abandoned during the Eighties, have been rehabilitated by the architects Reichen and Robert. The work, which took 18 months, will have cost €115 million. Sixty or so shops and restaurants now occupy the 60 000m² of these former warehouses.
