Hamburg. Following the recent members meeting in Lisbon, when a work group reported back on the benefits to be gained from the use of Social Media, the Atlantic Alliance has decided to establish both a Facebook page and a LinkedIN group. Work group member Catherine Leparmentier of the Port of Bordeaux said "from our work we quickly identified the opportunity that both Facebook and LinkedIn could offer members of the Atlantic Alliance to better interact with cruise lines, crew and passengers". Join now the Atlantic Alliance on Facebook and LinkedIN and stay informed about and share news on Europe’s Prime Cruise Destinations.
The new Facebook page and LinkedIN group, along with the new look website www.atlantic alliance.eu give the Atlantic Alliance a broad web presence which allows both individuals and companies to keep abreast of developments within the member ports as well as interact, comment, discuss and share experiences. Catherine commented "we now have the ideal platform to keep in touch with friends and business contacts".
The Fan page exists since July 1st and can count to be filled in just before the PR fans. The LinkedIN group was launched earlier and should grow to share professional experiences.
All cruisers and cruise lovers are welcomed to join the Atlantic Alliance online and are asked to post their comments and questions.
