After almost 10 years of renovation, restoration and alteration, the completely renovated Rijksmuseum will tell the story of the Netherlands from the Middle Ages to the present.A new display of the collection, a renewed building, new public facilities, a revamped garden and a new Asian Pavilion - only Rembrandt’s most celebrated painting The Night Watch will return to its former place. The Rijksmuseum will be the first major national museum in the world to be open to the public 365 days per year. The museum will be open daily from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission will be €15, the museum remains free for children under 19.
The museum belongs to the best 15 museums in the world, according to Touropia, and to National Geographic the museum is amongst the top 10 worldwide.
