The Le Havre Cruise Club organised a drawing competition for the primary classes of the Le Havre conurbation. The theme was “draw-me a cruise ship”. The five winning classes (134 pupils+ 15 accompanying adults) were invited at the Cruise Terminal last Tuesday. They visited the collections of the maritime museum adjacent to the cruise terminal and afterwards they carefully listened to the Cruise Club’s President, Agnès Firmin Le Bodo who announced the awards. The announcement was followed by sweet treats. Prizes are: visit of a cruise ship for the winning class. Second prize: visit of the harbour aboard a sailing ship ; third: visit of Le Havre by scenic train. The goal of this operation was to give a taste of cruising to the young generation and to their parents through them.
