Lisbon received the first call Celebrity Infinity and other four ships simultaneously

On October 29th, Celebrity Infinity debuted in Lisbon. This call was part of an itinerary which began in Harwich, calling La Rochelle, Gijon, Vigo, Nassau and Miami as final destination.
From the operator Celebrity Cruises, the cruise vessel was launched in 2001 and recently deep refurnished, including some detailed upgrades from Solstice class, standing out the newest dinners, the Qsine and Blu Mediterranean restaurants, the Bistro on Five, a computer lounge, along with new interior staterooms and additional luxury cabins with sea view.
With 294 meters length and over than 91 thousand tons, Celebrity Infinity has capacity for 2170 passengers, offering 1059 staterooms, of which, 539 with balcony.
The cruise vessel was welcomed in Lisbon by tugboats from Svitzer Company and the ship's captain received the commemorative plaque from Port of Lisbon Authority during the traditional welcome ceremony held on board.
On the same day, the port of Lisbon received more four cruise ships, accomplishing five cruise calls simultaneously, Costa Fortuna, MSC Orchestra, Azura, L’Austral and Celebrity Infinity brought to Lisbon over than 10 thousand tourists.
At the Lisbon Cruise Terminal in Santa Apolónia district were Costa Fortuna and MSC Orchestra with interporting operations, strengthening the annual overall figures considering this type of operation that has been growing in the Portuguese capital port.
Azura cruise vessel berthed at the Alcântara Cruise Terminal, during an itinerary which started and ends in Southampton.
On the other hand, the cruise vessel L´ Austral finished a cruise at the Rocha Conde de Óbidos Cruise Terminal, on October 30th, started an itinerary with final stop in Ushuaia, Argentina.
